Trump has made some really creepy statements about his daughter. You have to acknowledge that. Also, Soaring Eagle didn't make the comment about Isaakson. Don't lump everyone together based on your opinion of their similar ideologies. That's what leads to people doing things like insulting people with Parkinsons, or defending someone who mocks a person with a disability.
It's like this, they may be different people or the same person (you can do on the internet) but one thing is certain, they have a group think mentality on here. I do not think that Trump is banging his daughter and bringing it up here or in front of a national audience (that has happened) is not a good look. The fact that you even seem to agree with the sentiment shows bias on this matter.
People have even went after Barron Trump (a kid) and wrote articles about his mental acuity. Where does it end? People have made fun of every President, but it is now out of control. When you address it, people always come back with...but Trump said this (usually a sound bite taken out of context) and then they attack him, his family, or is business.
One democratic strategy is simple, make the political climate so toxic, people won't care about the economy any more.
Don't act like that's only on the left. There are still posts on here from the other side saying that Michelle Obama is a trannie and that the Obama's kids are not really their own. And I'm not saying the Trump is banging his daughter. I'm saying that he's made statements about her that are really creepy, probably as a joke, but still creepy.
I'm not in favor of people going after the children of politicians. I've seen that happen when Obama was in office too. Shoot, Rush famously called Chelsea Clinton the White House dog in the 90's. I didn't like those attacks and I don't like attacks against Barron either.
I also think it's odd that you think that only one party is making the political climate toxic.
Both sides are guilty. Most of the time it's the fringe right/left making stuff up. It is the MSN and others this time around. Just today, MSNBC has to retract a story that Russians co-signed for Trumps loans. Trump had to have his attorney threaten a law suit to get it retracted. That's today's political climate.
I remember when Rush said that and was called out by the right for saying it. I think he learned his lesson. The right/left hate mix is about 20/80. The left has about 80% bandwidth so they have a larger voice.
20/80? This stat quoted in a thread about a sitting congresswoman who is, without proof, said to have been married to her own brother, then accused, again without proof, of having an affair with someone else? It's 50/50, and it's all bad.
There is smoke with the whole marriage/tax thing. The liberal MN press is focused on it. That is being widely reported. It was discussed in testimony taken under oath. It might end up being nothing, but there is something there.

Legitimate media isn't the source of the hate. That's twitter-sphere, youtube, and some subset of the media - the Rushes and Alex Joneses, Samantha Bees, etc. They aren't media though, they are entertainment.

It was Lawrence O'Donnell on Tuesday night. I saw it. I'll believe it when I actually see the loan documents. For the time being we can't say it is true or not true.
