Doing some research into what is returning for WVU and on the mound there are a couple of noticeable numbers.

- Out of WVU's returners on the roster, they return 29.8% of their innings from last year. However, they also return 43.2% of their walked batters last year. Command will be front and center for these guys.

- In addition, out of the five transfer pitchers they added, they combined for just under 300 innings, and 335 strikeouts. Also, the five transfers walked fewer batters (115) than the nine returners (120). And they did so while pitching almost 150 more innings than the returners did last season.

- As far as the lineup goes, there is a lot of returning production across the board. WVU returns 77% of their at-bats, 76% of their hits, 75% of their runs, and 70% of their home runs.

- The two transfers listed on the roster (Rinehart and Swain), combined for 154 hits, 100 RBI, and 22 HRs last season.

- Overall there is a lot to like in this lineup that WVU is bringing back but the pitching is still very unkown as of now as WVU lost 6 of their top 7 arms from last season in terms of innings pitched
