Max Starks and Wolfley have a show where they discuss all things Steelers. They have watched practices and now that the pads are on, their observations are more relevant and informed. They believe that Zach, like almost all rookie OL, still has a pretty long learning curve ahead of him. FWIW, they think Fantanu is in the same boat as Zach (they think Fantanu may be better off inside at guard). They made the point that it is harder for rookie OL to excel than other positions. During their conversation, Zach buried Payton Wilson about 15 yards down field. The guys loved it.
I have long felt that Zach would start on day 1. If these guys are right, it may take Zach a little longer as it did with Broderick Jones last season. I think OC is a particularly difficult job for a rookie.
