It's very possible that The Mountaineers could have 2 1000 yard backs and 2 1000 yard receivers. If the offense continues improving and producing throughout the season.
The possibility is there. With Wellman, Crawford and Shell the backfield is above average. I for one am excited to see that we have a very good ground game.
The receivers especially sure handed D. Shorts are as good as any in the BIG XII. iMO.
Not to overlook the next game but after the BYU game we will know what we have. So far though after the first game I'm hopeful that The Mountaineers can achieve a top 3-4 position in THE BIG XII.
