2028 RB Dillon Mitchell broke the high school 100 meter record (10.07) this week. He broke it for the first time last week, and the next day picked up 10 D1 offers. Mitchell is from Houston and earlier this week the Lancaster HS (Dallas) relay team broke the girls 4x100 record. Guess you could say there is a little speed in Texas.

WVU hasn't offered Mitchell yet but I'm sure they will, just like everyone else.

Last season, Mitchell rushed for 667 yards and 13 touchdowns and added 398 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. He also had 6 combined kick-off return and punt return touchdowns and two interceptions in nine games.
