This is the new version of the WVSports.com Football Recruiting Hotboard that I will update here on the board based on information that I receive from talking with both the prospects and various sources. As always this is unofficial in nature and my best estimate on where the Mountaineers stand.
The new version of the Hotboard will be updated weekly here on the board and will be color coded in order for you to understand where West Virginia stands with prospects at each position.
RED - HOT - These players are believed to have West Virginia has either a front runner or one of the top schools on their lists with a chance at a commitment above 40-percent.
BLACK - WARM - These players are believed to have West Virginia as a school of strong interest in their recruitment but do not have the Mountaineers as their known favorite. West Virginia is still in contention but there are other schools involved as well.
BLUE - COOL - These players have been offered by West Virginia but either are not highly interested in the program or it is unclear where they stand with the staff in regards to them accepting a commitment. There is no available information to show West Virginia is the front runner.
