Buford (Ga.) 2021 quarterback Aaron McLaughlin picked up an offer from West Virginia and already is approaching 30 offers after starting his freshman season for varisty at powerhouse Buford. He was offered by offensive coordinator Jake Spavital and he told me that he is very familiar with the success he's had at the college level with quarterbacks as well as the offensive system in Morgantown. McLaughlin already has other offers from Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Penn State, UCLA and a host of others but he does have interest in visiting West Virginia. He isn't in any hurry at this stage of the process and wants to keep an open mind. He did tell me that he likes how West Virginia competes in the Big 12 every year and he really likes Spavital and what they have discussed. He already has prototypical size and a very strong arm.
