DJ Gordon

This past high school season, DJ Gordon was one of the guys who broke out and his recruitment spoke for all of that. He landed 10+ high major offers and it doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down.

UPDATE:: He will officially visit Penn State on September 14th and Minnesota on October 5th

Among those that offered were Illinois, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, among several others. This spring he’s running with Team Final on the EYBL circuit which should help garner more interest.

He’s taken unofficial visits to Pittsburgh several times as well as West Virginia earlier in the high school season. Although, West Virginia isn’t one of the schools that’s currently recruiting him.

The schools on him the hardest, according to DJ himself:

“TCU, Pittsburgh, Illinois, DePaul, Providence, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, VCU, and Wichita State, are on me pretty hard right now,” Gordon said.

He also gave us a significant update on potential visits. He doesn’t have anything planned just yet but he says “I’ll start taking visits after Peach Jam.”

When I asked him who will get visits (as of now) he answered with the following schools: Illinois, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, and Providence, are among those that he’d like to visit, but right now his recruitment is WIDE OPEN.

As for a timeline, the 6-5 Gordon said that he’d like to make his decision in November during the early signing period.
