I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but Statistics also show more than half of the 1st round picks are busts. Maybe it's the $$$$$ going to people who can't handle it and the job at the same time.

Talent is talent, but doesn't automatically translate to a good team. The 2006-2007 WVU football team didn't have many draft picks and the ones that went didn't have great success. Yet, I'd put that team as clearly better than any WVU has fielded since despite the increased draft picks.

Reminds me of many Heisman winners have turned out to be duds at the next level.
