NOT OT - Pepperoni Rolls

My wife and I are headed to Ft Moore (Ft Benning) this week (Wednesday) for my son’s Turning Blue ceremony.

My wife just now informed me that our son requested we bring down some Pepperoni Rolls, because he’s been talkin’ and tellin’ about them to some of his fellow infantrymen, and wants to share with some of his peers.

My question is, living in the Hurricane / Huntington area, where might we be able to get a few of them to take down with us?

I know Fireside in Teays Valley makes a real good batch, and I’m not hankering to have to get 20 appetizers worth to take with us on our drive, but if that’s the best and only option, we’re more than happy to do it.

Thoughts?

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (December 2, 2024) –
West Virginia University Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker has announced that offensive coordinator Chad Scott will serve as the interim head coach for the Mountaineers in their upcoming bowl game.

“I want to thank Coach Scott for agreeing to lead our team in bowl preparation. He has been a strong and great leader for our program, and someone who cares for our student-athletes,” Baker said. “I appreciate his willingness to step forward to make for as smooth of a transition as possible. I have confidence that Coach Scott will have our team prepared and ready to play.”

A 2024 Broyles Award nominee as the nation’s top assistant coach, Scott has served as the offensive coordinator for two years and overseen the running backs for six years. He was the co-offensive coordinator from 2019-21 and the run game coordinator in 2022. The Mountaineers led Power Five in rushing in 2023 and currently are ranked No. 9 among Power Four.

Scott joined the Mountaineers football staff as the running backs coach in 2019 after serving as the tight ends/hybrids coach at North Carolina (2016-18). Prior to that, he served as the run game coordinator/running backs coach at Kentucky (2013-15) and the running backs coach at Texas Tech (2010-12) and Troy (2007-09).
