I'm not suggesting you pick the exact team...or even the exact pick. Maybe in a group of three (ex. pick 9-12).

White is CLEARLY considered a top prospect by...well...mock draft 'specialist'. What does that really mean though ? Only a couple of years ago Geno Smith was (mostly) a given to be a 1st rounder in most mock drafts. He slipped to the early 2nd. I, really as a passing comment, mentioned that I didn't believe Geno Smith was a 1st round type talent and got endlessly trashed on this forum (by one poster in particular....no worries, he swears he won't be reading my posts so he can't possibly reply). I WANTED GENO TO GET DRAFTED HIGHER....and I really wasn't even suggesting he wouldn't be drafted in the 1st...but people ran with the misunderstanding.

Anyway, here we are.... ...draft day and one Kevin White.

He's CLEARLY going in round 1. Top 10...I'm not so sure. If he slips past 12th...he could slip past 20th (although I think a team would trade up to get him at that point).

-----------------

When do you think Kevin gets picked ?

4-15. Top 3 teams unlikely to go with WR. After that each team definitely has other concerns they COULD address first. If Cooper is the first WR to go, Kevin could fall out of the top 10. Highly unlikely he gets past 15 because either a team will trade up for him or a team will forgo other "needs" to take the best player available.

Anywhere but Oakland

I'd say "no way"...but it is the Jets.

Another team that has 'real' needs before WR.

I just think WR is a luxury type position. If I was a GM the position would be WAY DOWN on my list of 'wants'....

...so many other positions can improve 'the entire team' more.

I'll go out on a limb and say the Bears...Not the BEST spot for him to land but certainly not the worst...I too wished Geno was drafted higher, but don't see Kevin falling in the same manner. His character is plain to see for all, along with his abilities ...and that is not a knock against Geno....just different personalities...

The Bears isn't a reach.

.....if he slips past the Vikings then there's some concern.

Jets probably & unfortuneately. If not them, then its the Browns which is worse. I fear he is headed to a dumpster fire franchise any way you look at it.

If the Raider Godfather was still alive his 40 time alone would have got him drafted by Al Davis. It may still get him drafted. That franchise just loves speed at WR (from James Jett to Darius Heyward-Bey). I think he has better tools and football maturity than any other Dana Holgorsen offense WR. I wish the best for him.

If he slides... ..I'm thinking Chicago (too).. ..or Minnesota.

After that...who knows...?

Oh... ...is this where some doctor pretends he knew the results after the fact... ...but couldn't even hint at them before 'the fact' ???

Paper...........................Super Kevin White would be a good fit any where he fits in with the route they run in Oakland and/or Houston or for that matter the NFL but not the CFL (or arena style) and New England with Brady (Tom) and his new wife of a few years. Under the circumstances............do you agree for a change? Your record speaks for itself. Warez (new picture on the left)

I'm (finally) going to be honest (regarding White)...

...White is a HUGE reach in the first round imo.

I'm pretty much NEVER wrong...but I'm hoping I am this time.

Just really happy to see him go somewhere with a real chance to succeed, the deck isn't stacked against him going in...and those Chi-town folk seemed pretty excited to land him....NOW...If that Cutler dick decides to brow beat him and throw him under the bus? Then I'm gonna have some choice words for ole Jay! Something tells me Jay is not long for Chi-town anyway...
