WVU Football Season Ticket Sales Continue Downward Spiral

Speaking of deflection, cone boy, I never saw any of you WVU homers actually respond to the topic of this thread, which I started. WVU's season ticket sales suck almost as much as much as your job in the August heat and humidity. Has your wife sold enough porn mags for you to be able to afford season tickets this year?

You weren't looking very hard then.

My goodness you suck at this.

WhiteFails again. Your fellow WVU homers wouldn't address the facts about season ticket sales, and turned this into an overall attendance discussion before you became obsessed with Jim Tressel and me. You've avoided the shady recruiting tactics of WVU's basketball coaches conveniently, which further demonstrates what a fraud you are. Move along now.

First you want people to stay on topic, and then you go completely off topic. Make up your mind.

You're really really bad at this.

If you'll follow along, somebody mentioned how season ticket sales are only part of overall attendance.

Since you can only comprehend an explicit mention of your point ... the idea that season ticket sales are "spiraling" isn't accurate. They are maybe a few hundred off of where they were last year, which represents an extremely small percentage of season ticket sales, which themselves only represent about half of our overall attendance. When college football attendance is down across the board, I don't see how you paint this as some kind of uniquely WVU "problem".

So, really, you never had a valid point to begin with, which could be why things went the way they did in the thread. I'd say that you should try better next time, but sadly I think this was your best effort.

I'm so bad at this smack game that WhiteFailCriesinhisbEER replies to every single one of my posts. Actions speak louder than words, and it is crystal clear that I'm in fail boy's tiny head. LOL!

You specifically use my name and post something in direct response to what I've said, and I respond, so that means you're in my head?

Your reasoning skills are quite interesting.

I'm so deeply embedded in your tiny cranium that you don't know whether to take a crap or reset your DVR.

Only 27,300 season tickets have been sold to date. This is the SEVENTH consecutive year of lower season ticket sales for the Old Fold & Blew. By way of comparison, over 38,000 season tickets were sold before the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
This is easy to reply to.

Yes. It is true that season ticket sales is down. WVU's fan base is not happy with the results on the field and for the one's who can afford it, they are letting their money (or lack of money sent to WVU) do the talking.

Regarding WVU's fan base, repeat after me: OVERRATED (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)...OVERRATED (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)...OVERRATED (clap, clap, clap, clap, clap)...
As far as this portion of the original post, pure grade school childishness.

tOSUgrad90 is a Herd fan. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Was there ever any doubt??????? I'd venture to say that most of the negative posts on this board are from the same pretender with nothing better to do than ride around in his electric "too fat to walk buggy" while he's waiting for his wife to finish shopping at Wal-Mart.

For the fifth straight season, FBS attendance has seen a drop. Of the 127 teams, the 2015 average crowd was 43,933, according to the NCAA. That was a drop of 670 per game.

So, yes, WVU has seen a decline, but so have a lot of other schools. And, yes, some Mountaineers fans have been out-priced. But they too are not alone.

Long article but relative to the original subject........

Undefeated, ranked #10 and Marshall still averaged 28,000 and some change. Couldn't even break the 30,000 mark for its conference championship.

Marshall needs more fans.

Reduce seating by widening seats. If/when there is a consistent demand for more seats, then do it.
