Andrew Clay was being interviewed on Mountaineer Gameday by Nick Farrell and he outright said it’s going to be an easy win for PSU and he was not just saying that because he is a PSU homer.
I don’t expect anyone outside of a WVU fan to think we have any remote chance of winning, but man, coming outright and saying you think it’s going to be an easy win… even if you think it, the polite, gracious and professional thing to say when you are on the opponent’s show is something like you expect a PSU win by at least a couple of scores, not essentially saying you guys suck and we’re gonna wipe the field with you.
I know the outcome is likely not going to favor WVU… we’ve heard nothing from anyone outside the borders of WVU say we have a chance at doing anything at all, but I’d really love to beat PSU. Just because we need the win and they don’t and I just want to dang it.
