I remember it wasn't that long ago that Big Bobby faced off against Grand Canyon and Coastal Carolina in one of those alphabet soup tournaments that cost the school $30K per game. Had to sting paying $30K to lose to the Chanticleers.
I was shocked WVU played in that tourny...and equally shocked to see them dismissed so easily!
The roosters hung 109 on them in the asbestos riddled coliseum.
The best part of the roosters running 'em 'eers out of the Coliseum was that the local WVU media types couldn't shut up about how cool it was going to be that WVU would be playing in a three-game series to determine the pay-in tournament champion after having made fun of little brother for paying to play a few years earlier. Those clowns are as clueless as Slow Head...LOL
