It's Gameday!!!!
Finally.
Here we go. Happy Valley and Ped State.
Don't know what to think about this one. Does WVU have a chance? Sure. ("So you're saying there's a chance...").
Who knows.
Things I want to see today, regardless of the outcome. Mean. On both lines. Like I'm gonna hit you so hard you will need a haircut when you wake up mean... Mental discipline. No delay of game penalties after a timeout. No false starts. PLEASE. Run the ball. The line and backfield are loaded. Use it. A mobile QB brings another weapon to the arsenal. Use that, too. Defense. Play fast. Get off the field on third down.
No turnovers.
Obviously, WVU has their hands full tonight.
So - optimistic me - WVU wins 38-35. Pessimistic me - WVU loses 49-13. Realistic me - WVU loses 38-21. Playing with house money tonight, so just get out there and beat up on them.
And at least we aren't Arizona State, who darn near crapped the bed to Southern Arizona last night. Way to represent, boys (albeit in a dust storm and thunderstorm delay/monsoon).
Just show up with a chip on our shoulders and hit them in the mouth first.
