Who doesn’t love an underdog? WVU has pretty much always been an underdog or at least seen as an underdog. I used to relish that role growing up surrounded Pitt and Penn State fans. They could never understand the passion even in defeat…WVU always fought to the end.
As Jack Fleming would say - WVU is the prohibitive underdog. But he would also say, Mountaineers enjoy walking in where angels fear to tread. Here’s to hoping the boys have that mentality tonight!
