In response to the title of the thread - I don't know how good or how awful Notre Dame is, but Marshall winning there was an awesome accomplishment. Kudos to the Herd for what was probably the keynote win in their programs history.
No doubt the victory over ND was big for Marshall's program! I don't think Notre Dame was close to their preseason ranking.
