Stone Cold

Shouldn't. You lock in your picks to whatever the line happens to be at the time of placing your wager. That's why I like to pick mine early (despite seldom getting one right), before money starts flowing in and shifting the lines. I assume we all trust whatever anybody happens to toss out there.
 
I like to wait on the totals when I'm looking to play the under on a big number. Last week's USC/Fresno State game is a good example. As Tony said, there was no money being bet on the under, so the total went from 69 to 74 during the week. It turned out to be a pretty easy under win partly because Fresno State's offense was overrated and its quarterback got injured during the game.
