West Chester (Oh.) Lakota West 2026 athlete Cam Thomas told me that he has really been hoping for this offer for sometime. He was called down to the office and found out about it and the fact that he is going to be a priority for West Virginia in the 2026 class. He told me that he is really familiar with the program and has only heard good things about it especially with the family feel and how hands on the coaches are with recruiting. Teams are recruiting him as an outside linebacker that can do a lot of different things and coaches like his versatility on that side of the ball. He has visited a lot of different places so far and was expected to visit West Virginia but had a family conflict come up a few weeks ago. He is looking for a program that feels like home and where he can be developed on and off the field.
