Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek 2025 wide receiver Karon Brookins told me that his junior day visit was amazing and what stood out to him was just how comprehensive the entire experience was touching on academics, football, health and options after graduation. He told me that while this was his first trip he was really impressed and it was a great vibe to be around. He has been speaking with wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall but also was able to meet the rest of the coaches today. It was Marshall that offered him a scholarship and he was very happy and excited for it. Brookins said the coaches are targeting him as a wide receiver and likes the fact he can jump and adjust his body in the air as well as his length. He believes he is a natural fit for the scheme. Brookins will definitely be back to West Virginia for another visit but will head to Penn State next weekend.
