Gary described himself as "about 75%"........... and probably a bit optimistic since he's talking about himself.
Tomorrow, we play arguably the most athletic, fast team in our league............... only for the chance to turn around and play Kansas.......... only for the chance to turn around and play either ISU or OK.............
If WVU is to be without Juwan Staten for the NCAA Tournament (which in all likelihood is happening), does it not more greatly benefit our future success rate to CONTINUE to give our freshmen and Tarik experience at the PG spot?
I wholeheartedly understand that Gary, being a senior, wants nothing more than to wear that jersey again............ but what point is 75% when you can be 100% when it truly, actually matters.....
We aren't going to win the league tournament, as hobbled as we are (watch it happen now).........and we aren't going to improve our NCAA seeding unless we DO hoist the trophy.
I see Baylor, and any games that could follow this weekend as just more learning experience for our underclassmen.
Agree/ Disagree?
