“Oklahoma State transfer Javon Small announced his commitment to West Virginia in early May but as of Sunday night he has not signed with West Virginia so he is not bound to the program. Behind the scenes, I’ve heard people close to Small are looking around again and Small could end up not playing at West Virginia for the 2024-25 season.
I have heard KU is back in the mix and is making a run at him. KU ramped up its recruiting efforts for Small in the week or so before his decision. I’ve heard some murmurs that a visit to KU has been discussed. If it’s going to happen in the next two weeks it will need to happen in the next 48 hours because there is a dead period upcoming that goes from May 22 through June 2. Any visit would need to be over by Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. CT. “
