This is rather interesting. It states that if a member simply delivers a notice to withdraw prior to August 1, 2024, they are subject to penalties. So, it appears they can’t even notify the conference they’re leaving prior to the expiration of their current contract. I guess the B12 would partially pay these penalties out of the $80M provided by Texas and OU.
