OT: Smoked Chuck Roast

Have any of you beautiful bastards or bitches smoked a chuck roast before? I’m doing a couple Sunday and I’m not sure what dry rub to use. I’d like to give it a Tex Mex flavor and make soft tacos, quesadillas and nachos with it. Also, never used mesquite pellets to smoke is it too pungent or would it work well? I’ll hang up and listen. Thanks!
