Huntington's Gavin Lochow was named First Team FCS Freshman All-American as an all-purpose player. On the season he had 36 yards rushing, 402 receiving and 5 TDs. He had a 24.2 yards average on kickoff returns. Seems like a guy that could help a school a little bigger than Dayton. Some serious bloodlines.

Personal:
  • Son of Dr. Steve and Dr. Amy Lochow
  • Has three siblings- Haven, Torin and Trevor
  • Dad was an All-America and Academic All-America defensive lineman at Dayton who played from 1990 to 1993
  • Mom played tennis at Furman, and was also an All-American and Academic All-American
  • His aunt, Julie Ditty, was a Top-100 WTA professional tennis player
  • Majoring in Business and Marketing
