Maybe other schools do this but it's the first time I had heard of it. Shady Spring High School has three elementary schools that feed into the high school. This week they took all the high school graduating seniors back to their respective original elementary school "where it all started". Once there the seniors walked the halls of their old elementary school decked out in their cap and gowns while the elementary students and teachers cheered them on. Apparently had a small ceremony at each school too where some of the teachers shared memories and even some old work of those seniors. Probably a tear or two shed I would think.
