Need tailgating advice.

I live in New Mexico but usually come back for at least one football game yearly. I’ll be there for the Texas Tech game. Typically spend time pregame in the Alumni Center due to family commitments. Great food and drink but I’d like to experience the atmosphere of true Mountaineer tailgating and possibly meet some of you crazy blue lot folks. Any advice?
