Morgantown Advice?

Looking for suggestions on best places to eat and drink in Morgantown. Getting in town Friday night and would like a nice steak place. And then would like a few suggestions for lunch spots and places to grab a beer and watch football during the day.

Any help would be great.

Where are you staying? There is a website http://www.tourmorgantown.com that has suggestions of restaurants in the Morgantown area. If you are near the downtown area High Street is where most of the bars are located. Remember it is a college town. On Saturday if you are looking for a place to watch games near the stadium. Keglars is usually a good choice. Walk through the Blue Lot and there will be several tailgates with TVs. Most of them won't mind you stopping to watch with them.

I am sure others will have more suggestions for you. But this is a start.

Thanks for the info. We made a late decision to make the trip and got stuck with the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel. It is on the east side of town by the looks of it. Sounds like High Street is the place to go. Should be a fun Saturday

Keglars on Saturday. Look up directions to Charlie"s in Westover. They have a nice steak.
