AN EXCERPT:
The good news for Mountaineer fans is reinforcements have hit Morgantown. Four-star recruit Jovon Durante, 6-foot-1 from Miramar, Fla., is in WVU’s fold. Ditto 6-2 Virginia product Gary Jennings, who turned down Notre Dame and Nebraska, among others. Ditto 6-2 Lackawanna College transfer Ka’Raun White, little brother of Kevin.
“They look good,” Galloway said. “Jovon is a wiry, quick kid with a whole lot of twitch. Gary is a big, strong physical kid. He and Jovon both have the ability to come in here and play. Now, how much I don’t know. But they’re both talented.
“Gary is physically ready to play. Jovon needs to catch up on the physical part, but as far as just speed, he can run. He’s a talented kid. Ka’Raun, as an older player, as one who played in junior college, should be ready to play. Those three kids are great kids. Those three are great ‘gets’ we got.”
