If you continue winning, your attendance is bound to pick up...nm. *

More speculation than brag...how many to you think will show up in Lawrence to see the Mounties, maybe 30,000 plus? Hahahahahahahahhaha
I don’t understand why Kansas fans not showing up for a home game reflects on WVU? We are not their rivals. That would fall to KSU and Oklahoma.
Marshall on the other hand WAS playing their longtime rival in Ohio University and did not fill the Joan.

It was a WVU poster that implied that 30,000 was a sparse crowd...just pointing what your Big 12 brethren will draw Saturday! But the entire attendance " smack" is weak and inane, IMHO. Yes, WVU outdraws MU, OSU outdraws WVU, Michigan outdraws OSU....so what?

Surely you don't really want to get into numbers when comparing us to Marshall.......... . If you do we could talk about things like conference payouts, revenue from ticket sales and third tier rights. Best step away before you embarrass yourself further. And if I had plans of attending the Marshall vs Cincy game, I'd buy the family pack - 4 tickets to the game that includes a $20 concession voucher, all for $100. That's laughable.
true but I think they outdraw Pitt most Home games.

The eers have been running every since they were called out! Looks like they'd suck it up and face their fears!

They have more disingenuous excuses as to why they can't play ...total baloney!

The things you want most are the things you can't have. Fact is, you're not on our level in either sport. Examples - Marshall doesn't play a single P-5 football team this year, while we face 11 P-5's. And your basketball schedule featuring a regular season game against Bluefield State is just plain sad.

P-5, G-5, Hawaii -5....do you think WVU could beat Boise on the blue turf or Cincinnati?

Ha ha. Be specific.
Texas and Oklahoma would beat the shit out of us, as they will WVU! Oklahoma St. would most likely beat the shit out of us as well with all that speed. The rest appear to be sort of half assed although KSU has improved from last year but we'll know more about them after they visit Stillwater. Don't fear any of them.

Apparently the AD's office at Marshall doesn't agree with you on the rest of the Big 12 being half assed as you call them. Otherwise they would schedule some of those "half assed Big 12 teams" to beef up what is traditionally one of the weakest schedules in all of the 130 programs in FBS football.

Tell the Jayhawks 1-800- THE-HERD, if they want to play! But we're no CCU!

You don't want to have anything to do with Kansas, especially since they managed to notch a win against WVU a few years ago. Which is something Marshall has never been able to accomplish. And on the basketball side...............you'd best be advised to just stick to scheduling the Bluefield State's of the world.

I know that 7 point win over Indiana Sate ( sans Larry Bird) and loss to CCU strikes fear into the MU administration! We're so shook up at the thought of facing mighty KU ,we scheduled teams like UC and Boise that would beat the poor Jayhawks by 40! Hahahahahahahahhaha

On the basketball side.....KU about to get their comeuppance, cheatin' bastards!

But you managed to avoid scheduling any of the P-5's...........not such a bad idea given the fact that VT blasted the Herd when half of the Hokies wanted to lose the game. The Marshall AD's office is slowly learning to stay in their lane, too bad that it hasn't sunk in to the Herd faithful.
