It's not because Chicago voters are racist, or sexist, or homophobic, or any of that Left wing rot gut. It's because they're tired of living in fear from random crime & violence. Chicago has some of the toughest gun restrictions in the country, but without firm support for Law enforcement from city administrators charged with protecting the public safety, criminals don't fear obeying the Law!
