This year the redshirt junior quarterback was phenomenal on the deep ball going 32-69 for 1,179 yards and 12 touchdowns on balls thrown 20+ yards in the air. He actually had three of those passes dropped which would have brought his completion percentage up to 50.7 which is just nuts for those type of throws. His 31 big-time throws was good for third nationally behind only Michael Penix and Drake Maye. Those are throws with excellent location and timing throw down the field or into tight windows.
But here is where Greene needs to improve. He actually completed a higher clip of those 20+ yards passes (46.4-percent) than he did on intermediate throws 10-19 yards (43-percent). If that number turns, along with what he can do in the run game he could be in for a truly special season.
