Is it possible he helped his draft stock more than he hurt it on that last play even though he got injured? I mean that play had it all man. Pure bliss for any true football fan. He showed the requisite athletic traits, leadership, and mid play recognition by getting to Clement and basically willing him to the first down. Then proceeded to show his top notch selflessness and football IQ by scrambling off the field before the run off.
It sucks that he may miss some pre draft workouts, but if you’re an NFL draft/scout guy how much more do you honestly need to see? The center from Georgia might have a stronger pedigree, but Id have a hard time not making Zach the first center off the board after watching four years of top notch football tape, capped off by that profound of an effort/play on his final time on the field.
