Miami (Fla.) Northwestern 2026 cornerback J’Vari Flowers found out about his scholarship offer from West Virginia after wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall visited his school. He told me he has talked to him in the past but he was obviously excited to add the Mountaineers to his list of offers. Marshall has told him that the coaching staff likes his speed and skill set at the cornerback spot and while he's still learning about West Virginia he does like the fact that the program has successfully recruited players out of South Florida and he knows several. The plan for him is to visit West Virginia this summer and he has already been to Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Miami, South Florida, Florida Atlantic and Texas State. He is looking into setting up a number of trips this summer outside of West Virginia but admittedly is excited to get there and see it all.
