Vernon is right about football NIL. I talked to the men’s basketball coach at Centre College (Danville KY) who is a good friend of Brown. He said that NIL has killed any chance of Brown succeeding at WVU. Whether true or not, a lack of NIL will inevitably be voiced by Brown as a reason if fired. That is the story line Brown is telling in private.
