If I was Trump I would demand the Biden get a cognitive function test prior to any debate to make sure he is capable of a fair debate, knowing that Biden will not debate or release his medical records anyways

Think that is brilliant. Forces Trumps hand with the tax returns. The audit excuse was BS. There was no audit, and if there was (there wasn't) its certainly over. Biden has released his. So, Trump needs to do the same.

And fact checking Trumps BS is key so he doesn't lie his entire way through the debate should definitely be a prerequisite. Trump found a cheat code with the US public. Just lie out your ass the entire time, and some will be too dumb or lazy to check or didn't initially think the level of lying would be possible. So, they didn't think about fact checking his BS.

And if Trump says no say no to the debates and use that as the reason. If Trump can't agree to those 2 things he has something to hide any way.

Why should Trump release his tax returns? I'm sure the IRS agents have done their due diligence and found nothing wrong. Perhaps those calling for those forms are jealous and hope to find he isn't as rich as some claim. But who really cares????

A lot of people care. Mostly because he's a proven liar. He lied to Forbes about being a billionaire, and there's a good chance he's not as rich as he says he is, which speaks to his character. There is evidence he is corrupt. He claims he's a self made man, but there is also evidence his daddy gave him all his money. He hasn't put his business interests in a blind trust and still has his family running the business, which can very well lead to corruption and profiteering off of being President. There are many reasons why he needs to release his tax returns...including that EVERYONE else has and does.

it's a broken record...He is the only President that made his money from his own accomplishments and not from politics...and all of the Presidents except Grant profited 100 fold from being in office...now it's a different story....just really dishonest for anyone to use this argument.

First, its not the only thing that matters. If he's lying about his wealth and business acumen, which was a major part of his campaign, then that certainly matters.

If he's profiteering off of the Presidency that certainly matters.

Second, let's assume that is all that matters. A lot of other assumptions would need to be made. Has he been audited by the IRS? I haven't seen proof. Trump's word certainly isn't proof enough. IF the IRS did audit him, how can you be sure he didn't pressure them to get the result he wanted. Of course, that is a big reach considering I've never seen him pressure anyone before.

Biden and Trump should debate the same number of times recent history dictates. I can't imagine there is more than a handful of undecided voters out there, but no reason to do anything different.

I say bring that idea on for Trump to exploit. I would attack that idea by juxtaposing it to Biden's inability and unwillingness to show the American public he can debate Trump and win as well as appearing desperate to use tax returns as a reason not to debate. Reveal more of Groper Joe's weaknesses as a failed leader. I'd even call him a sissy and "chicken" to bring him back to the future, when he thought he was at his toughest, you know, behind a gym.

And if there isn't anything in Trump's taxes how would Biden capitalize? Seems even to me considering Biden released his. Trump says Biden is corrupt. How exactly was he corrupt if he didn't make any money off of whatever he's being accused of?

If its not an even playing field by assuring that BOTH men are telling the truth and BOTH men released their tax returns, then Trump has a lot of shit to hide.
