Take Cummings out of it then. The Leftist policies suck and have not produced prosperity for those constituents. Time for a new approach. Dems have blown it. Blacks now know it.

This is something that almost never happens. No one ever holds these Democrats responsible for their failed policies. They just get by with good intentions, and no one ever looks at the end results. Well Trump is forcing everyone to look at the results of their policies, and Dems don't look so good.
This is just another reason why he's so hated and despised on the Left. He exposes them and their "fake news" apologists in the main news media so they can't hide.

Folks like Candace Owens, and Pastor Darrell Scott, who speak out favorably for Conservative solutions to Leftist residue caused by intractable poverty, hopelessness and despair, are shunned, ignored, even scoffed at, for suggesting a better way without handouts or dependence on Democrat failed programs and toward economic self empowerment through education, investments and personal responsibility.

Let’s be honest, there was poverty and slums long before the dems “failed policies.” Here are a few facts to chew on, poverty in the US has been nearly cut in half since JFK so all these policies are not failing. Poverty in the US is 12.3%. Since 1930, US poverty rates have exceeded other western nations. You can’t blame that on the democratic policies of today. And you can’t put 100% of the blame on dems although I do think much of the problem in our cities are the results of poorly run local governments which are largely democratic controlled.
Here is the sad truth. Many in poverty in the US are completely comfortable living that way accepting any assistance they can get to survive. We probably have made it too easy. One can live in poverty and still have a tv, phone, and heat and AC. Maybe even a car. That surely isn’t the poverty of Eastern Africa where people starve or go without water.
