I used to stay in the hotels on 695 and 40. Around the truck stops along 95. In one year in the early 90s I actually ate takeout Chinese from 53 places in Baltimore and surrounding places. I obviously moved around the city. There were housing projects near little Italy where I actually would work 1 week a year in the day time only. had a favorite bowling alley in west Baltimore where I could move between duck pins and 10 pins for like 5 bucks between 8-10. I’ve been to restaurants near the train museum where they made you park right in front. Walked back to downtown between federal hill and fells point before midnight many times. I wouldn’t think about that today. I’ve had coworkers robbed downtown. I don’t feel,save there today.

Years ago......Baltimore was one of my favorites......great ethnic neighborhoods and eateries. It had the feel of a real city when compared to the bland world of D.C..
