Cleveland Heights (Oh.) 2025 defensive lineman Jayquan Stubbs received an offer from West Virginia in the spring and was able to make it to campus to see it for himself. He told me that he was very impressed with everything and really liked what the Mountaineers had to offer as a program. He will return to West Virginia for an official visit May 31-June 2 and it's the first of several trips for him as he will go to Purdue June 7-9, Minnesota June 12-14, Wisconsin June 14-16 and Illinois June 21-23. All of the schools are targeting him as a defensive lineman and he wants to find a program where he can fit in with the defense as well as the culture.
