Read the article about defense getting better day to day. That is not a stretch at all given the depth and attitude this defense apparently has. Stay healthy on offense find a breakout player at RB, WR and TE and we will be tough to beat in November. We know what we have in Sills and Jennings, suppose TJ Simmons or Simms go off as well which is likely.
The unkown is the defense. IF we can be serviceable on defense enough to win the first few games then by October it is reasonable to think the WVU defense will in fact improve considerably and be more than just serviceable. It is really hard to predict because frankly we have not had the bodies we have on the DL in many years. How much will the defense improve, how fast......enough to slow down NCSU game 3. Maaaaybe.
Keno, Vernon others who have seen the defense play......how much upside does this unit have? When could they gel enough to help win a critical road game in the 4th QRT. You know that is what it will come down to.
