I just respectfully disagree with your assessment @NYC_Eer and here's why. Trump won my vote promising to do specific and defined things carrying out well annunciated policies I agreed with. He delivered on each and every one of those promises. I can sit here and tick off my top three or four and easily define how the policies resulted in success not only for me but the entire country, but you don't care so I won't.
Meanwhile you no doubt cast a self admitted protest vote against Trump, but sadly it wasn't based in any policy...it was quite frankly purely an emotion driven vote by your own admission which ironically is based solely on your own personal feelings of hatred for the man which is in fact a direct contradiction to what you've stated in this post that I'm responding to.
Now if you're suggesting Trump delivering on his campaign promises to me and millions of other voters through his successful policy results was being "swindled" I can't talk you out of that and I won't even try. However I would ask you what were your own policy based reasons Biden won your carefully considered vote, and how has he delivered on that promised agenda to you and the rest of the country to our benefit? (same analysis, different candidate)
Has he "brought us together" as he promised he'd do? Has he "eradicated the Covid menace" as he promised he would do? Are we "building back better" as he promised? Now if I can confidently and factually talk about Trump's policy successes delivered as he promised, why can't you do the same for your vote & your chosen candidate Joe Biden?

Your position would make sense if the country hadn’t experienced one of the greatest periods of prosperity in our lifetimes. I would only slightly disagree with you @30CAT about one thing here...I think it's actually healthy for the country that @NYC_Eer and folks like him got to vote for this sh*t show. Now we also get to vote to clean it up, and I think in the long run the best thing for the future of the country is to make sure folks like the ones @NYC_Eer and his ilk voted for are permanently voted out of power. I truly hope and Pray that's what happens this fall as a result of their careless disregard for our most precious asset...Freedom. Vote...the future of the county is at stake!
Trump wasn't my first choice either during the '16 GOP primary summer campaign. However just as you said, he earned my vote talking about border security, energy independence, growing small businesses, expanding school choice, and protecting innocent unborn Human Life. He delivered wildly on all of those and more, so when it came time to vote for him again I was "all in".
