I woke up this morning.
My family was still healthy.
My house was still standing.
I still had a great job to go to.
And I still love the Mountaineers.

Nothing has changed.

Yes, some still accept mediocrity...

I see nothing at all mediocre about any of that. Each and every one is a blessing.

My final wake-up was around 3 PM. I STILL have a hangover....damn late game (and my alcoholism).

My family was still healthy.
My brother is STILL fighting cancer. I know another Eers win would have lifted his spirits a bit.

My house was still standing.
My house is still standing too. However, I STILL owe $62,000

I still had a great job to go to.
I have a great job too. I STILL look forward to retirement.

And I still love the Mountaineers.
I love the Mountaineers too. STILL...the loss hurt. It's ok to admit it.

Nothing has changed.
Basketball season is over...so that's changed. WVU (our players and coaches too) was getting enormous amounts of respect (despite what you may have read on this forum)....that's all been wiped away. Today we're the laughing stock of the tournament. Time should wash that away though.....

.

I know you made your post to show that it's 'just a game'.

You just tried too hard. You needed all those 'good things' to wash away this loss ? Very telling....

That'll teach you.

You make a positive post and draw the a$$holes like dog crap draws flies.

Some of these people need to get on meds.

To add insult to injury, my Kentucky alumna daughter's dog (from the Lexington
pound, no less) chewed up my favorite WVU bedroom slippers.

Please explain what's so positive (regarding WVU athletics) about his post.

....and are you sure we don't need to get OFF meds ??
