MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (October 17, 2018) – Tickets for the West Virginia-Penn State charity exhibition men’s basketball game will go on sale Thursday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. through the Mountaineer Ticket Office.

The game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the WVU Coliseum. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross’ hurricane relief efforts. The game time will be determined once the WVU-Texas football game time is set.

Recently, the NCAA approved that an institution may use one of its possible two exhibition games against a Division I institution for the purposes of raising funds for a catastrophic event. The two teams will play a regulation 40-minute game.

Tickets will be priced at $10 for the general public and representatives from the American Red Cross will be collecting donations as fans enter the WVU Coliseum. WVU students are encouraged to give a donation when entering the Coliseum at the Mountaineer Gate. Tickets for the WVU-Penn State game are included as part of the men’s basketball season ticket package. To purchase tickets, fans can visit WVUGAME.com, call 1-800-WVU GAME or visit the Mountaineer Ticket Office in the Coliseum.

Two mini-packages and non-conference single-game tickets for WVU men’s basketball home games, except the Backyard Brawl against Pitt, are currently on sale.

The Gold mini-package includes the Pitt, Kansas, Texas and K-State games, for just $135 or $150, depending on seat location. The Blue mini-package features the Kansas, Oklahoma and Iowa State games, and is priced at either $84 or $99, depending on seat location.

Due to high demand, tickets for the Pitt matchup are only available in season tickets and mini-packages at this time. To guarantee a seat for the Backyard Brawl as well as every home game, fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets or a mini-package through the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Season ticket sales for the 2018-19 campaign currently rank as the fourth-most sold in school history with approximately 7,500 season tickets sold to date.

Tickets for non-conference matchups with Rider and Youngstown State games are just $10 each, courtesy of United Bank. The Valparaiso game on Nov. 24 and the Jacksonville State game on Dec. 22 are Family Days. Fans can purchase a Family Day pack of four tickets and a $25 concessions voucher for just $70.
