There were no first-time starters for West Virginia against Kansas. The Mountaineers have a total of 28 players with at leastone game of starting experience. Senior offensive lineman Kyle Bosch made his team-leading 33rd career start.


WVU improved to 2-1 all-time in games at Kansas and now lead the all-time series 6-1.


Since 2000, WVU is 110-14 when scoring 30 or more points in a contest and 56-4 when scoring 40 or more points in agame.


With 635 yards of total offense, WVU has 32 games with more than 500 yards of total offense and 17 with more than 600yards in the Holgorsen era.


Will Grier became just the second WVU quarterback to rush for two touchdowns, throw for two touchdowns and throw for 300 or more yards passing in the same game since Mike Sherwood against Pitt in 1968.


Kennedy McKoy scored his second rushing touchdown of the season on a seven-yard run in the first quarter. WVU’s driveconsisted of eight plays for 80 yards in 2:17.


On WVU’s first six offensive touchdowns (five more than 80 and one more than 70 yards), the Mountaineers now have 16drives of 70 yards or more this season, all resulting in touchdowns. WVU has nine touchdown drives of 80 yards or more this season.


McKoy added a 23-yard touchdown later in the second quarter, his third of the season. It was the second time in his careerwhere he rushed for two touchdowns in a game (at Texas in 2016). He now has seven rushing touchdowns for his career.


Justin Crawford’s 11-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter was his sixth of the season and 10th of his career. Hehad four rushing touchdowns in 13 games last season.


Crawford ran for a season-high 125 yards.


David Sills’ 49-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter was his sixth receiving touchdown of the season. It wasWill Grier’s 12th passing touchdown of the season.


Grier and Sills connected on a seven-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. It was Sills’ seventh receiving touchdownof the season and 13th for Grier. Sills has three multiple touchdown games this season.


Sills finished with 130 yards receiving, the second time this season and second time in his career he went over 100 yardsreceiving in his career.


With WVU’s 21 points in the second quarter and 21 in the fourth quarter, WVU has scored 20 or more points in a quarter 60times since 2000 and has done it in two quarters of a game 11 different times.


Mike Daniels’ 25-yard interception return for a touchdown was the first interception of his career. The last WVU player toreturn an interception for a touchdown was Rasul Douglas, a 54-yard return for a touchdown vs. BYU on Sept. 24, 2016.

Crawford went over 100 yards rushing for the fourth consecutive game this season. He has now rushed for 100 yardsor more nine times in his career.


The last time WVU had a player rush for 100 yards or more in four consecutive games was Wendell Smallwood fromTCU (Oct. 29, 2015) to Kansas (Nov. 21, 2015).


Grier finished with 347 yards passing, the fourth consecutive game he has thrown for 300 or more yards in a gamethis season.


Grier posted his first rushing touchdown at WVU on a three-yard run in the fourth quarter. He had another three-yard run later in the fourth quarter.


Lamonte McDougle’s forced fumble was his first of his career. Dylan Tonkery recovered the fumble, also the first ofhis career.


Al-Rasheed Benton’s interception in the fourth quarter was his first of the season and second of his career.
