That's awesome news for the state of WV's basketball school.

As it currently stands, WVU is still tied with Marshall in number of national titles won.

I was more encouraged by our loss on the road to #2 OK than I was by our win at home against #1 KU. Road games are tough. I was concerned we'd still be celebrating, and then of course OK was playing for the #1 ranking at that point. We took them to the last possession but came up short. I honestly was expecting a double digit loss. We didn't even play particularly well. At least not offensively.

You are right...it's way early and lots of hoops left... but you boys are playing well!

WVU never really plays greatl offensively...but they will not let you play either! They will ball hawk you and score off the turnovers, they do this as well as anybody I've seen all year! The WVU defense is smothering but the offense is so so!

What I mostly meant was that we only shot about 50% from the line and couldn't buy a 3.
You're right, we aren't great offensively from a percentage standpoint, we usually have a huge advantage in offensive boards.

What's interesting is WVU dropped 2 spots in the poll after winning against the herd but jumped 4 spots in the poll after losing to OU.

I wonder why?

Now that Danny has the Herd rolling, just as he predicted last year after the classic, maybe the Herd gets into the dance, and can face the cousins as a 15 seed.

Only question would be if Huggins would decide to forfeit the tilt.

Hahahahahahahaa...you know that's not totally beyond comprehension! We're playing well right now...Kelley has got his legs back and is the best big man in C-USA, our guards are hitting open jumpers in Dan's wild attack...we could win the conference!

Currently 2nd in the nation in defensive efficiency and 27th in the nation in offensive efficiency. It isn't pretty like Beilien's offense was here, but we are a good offensive team to this point as far as points per offensive possession.

You guys would have to win the CUSA tourney and that may be completely plausible.

What isn't likely is the CUSA tourney champ and automatic bid being a 15th seed. You would almost certainly be a 13th seed or better.
