Hilliard (Oh.) Bradley defensive lineman Brendan Bordner is up to a total of 29 scholarship offers but he picked up one this week from West Virginia. Defensive line coach Bruce Tall is the lead recruiter here and he told me he had been in touch with him for a few weeks and after the assistant visited the school this past time he offered a scholarship. Tall even acknowledged he was a little late getting in the game here, but Bordner said that West Virginia is a program that he is very interested in and he will definitely be taking a visit either in June or July. Already West Virginia is one of several schools that is sticking out to Bordner including Iowa State, Cincinnati and Navy and he is excited to check out the campus. Bordner is hearing from a lot more schools as well and is being targeted because of his size and the way he can use his hands on the defensive line. Already he has visited close to a dozen schools and told me that he does not plan on rushing the process as he wants to find a school that best fits him.
