MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (August 30, 2024) – The West Virginia University golf team received 10 votes in the 2024-25 Preseason Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll.
The Mountaineers rank 39th in the country in the preseason poll. Including West Virginia, seven Big 12 Conference teams are either ranked in the Top 25 or received votes.
Last season, the Mountaineers advanced to the NCAA Golf Championships for the first time since 1947 and recorded a 28th-place finish.
WVU opens its season on Sept. 8 at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minnesota.
