The top college football programs in the 21st century, based on their average final rankings in the Associated Press poll for the past 15 years, include #20 Kansas State, #14 TCU, #6 Texas and #2 Oklahoma.
That means WVU plays 4 of the top 25 football programs of this century EVERY year.
Just to add to the fun, the Mountaineers also have played #24 Notre Dame, #23 Clemson (and destroyed the Tigers in the Orange Bowl), #19 Louisville, #15 Miami, #13 Virginia Tech, #11 Florida State, #12 Auburn #7 Alabama.
