Got a text WVU was at Viera High(my local school) yesterday to check on 2016 WR Tre Nixon and look at one of his teammates a 2016 DB who is likely a non-P 5 player but still D-1. Not sure if it was Defo or Cogdell will talk to the head coach later this week to get the scoop but usually it is Defo who comes by here. Glad we haven't given up completely on Tre but we got in too late(though I gave Defo a heads up a year before anyone offered Tre) and I keep hearing Florida and PSU are the leaders. Tre was supposed to stop by Motown during spring break but never made it. Hopefully they can convince him to come this summer and at least check it out.
What I am real hopeful for is Defo stops at another local school and offers a 2017 WR I gave Dorchester film on who they really liked. If they offer it should be public sometime this week. 6'3" kid big hops and great hands. Hope he gets an offer.
