I normally have this compilation up weeks earlier than this as it makes great discussion, but with the crazy year now seems a better time to do these updates. The front runner seems to be the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis on December 31st. Runner up is the Texas Bowl in Houston, also on December 31st. Both are an SEC match-up. Here's the latest projections:

CBS SPORTS - AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL VS. OLE MISS

247 SPORTS - AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL VS. OLE MISS

ESPN - AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL
Bonagura: West Virginia vs. Kentucky
Schlabach: West Virginia vs. Tennessee

ATHLON SPORTS - AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL VS. KENTUCKY

COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEWS - AUTOZONE LIBERTY BOWL VS. KENTUCKY

USA TODAY - TEXAS BOWL VS. LSU

BLEACHER REPORT - TEXAS BOWL VS. OLE MISS

Could this be the 2nd year in a row TCU doesn't make a bowl?

OM in the Liberty Bowl.

They are pretty high right now. A lot of confidence there.

Their RB Ealy is said to be the best athlete to come out of Mississippi in the last 25-30 years
As a true freshman Rich Rodriguez created the offense around him
But he has a better future in their current offense.

Memphis is an Ole Miss town though

How can Tennessee (2-5) get a bowl game?

For that matter how can LSU (3-5 after Saturday’s Beatdown from BAMA) or Kentucky (3-6) who both have losing records get bowl games?

This is a ‘everyone get a trophy’ society now.

This could be a preview of how it will be when the P5 and G5 split. No more cupcakes to schedule to pad the w/l record.

The NCAA waived the six-win requirement this year...so outside of the tie-ins, its choose whatever brand program you want.

So basically, all 127 Football Bowl Subdivision teams are bowl-eligible.
